Asatru

Asatru, a modern revival of ancient Norse paganism, honors the gods and goddesses of the Norse pantheon, including Odin, Thor, and Freyja. Practitioners, known as Asatruar, celebrate seasonal festivals called blóts and engage in rituals like sumbel, where they make toasts and share mead. Community and ancestral reverence hold great importance in Asatru. This faith emphasizes values such as honor, courage, and hospitality, drawing from ancient sagas and Eddas for spiritual guidance and wisdom.
