Ymir Press is a small publishing and marketing organization dedicated to finding and promoting the most entertaining science fiction, fantasy, historical, and romance books featuring strong Norse, Viking, Pagan, or Wicca themes. If you wrote or read a book that even hints at a Scandinavian heritage, we want to review, and promote it. We don’t charge authors for inclusion in our list because we make money from affiliate links, ads, and the occasional relevant product.

Below, you’ll find a list of featured books. These are works that we really liked, and probably wrote. Very soon, we’ll be adding hundreds of books and a handy search feature. Our search will allow you to find exactly what you’re looking for. It will even allow you to exclude books with certain content warnings or keywords.

Who are we?

This website is the brain-child of two writers (one, a published author) with crippling OCD. Ymir Press is focused on advertising, reading, categorizing, tagging, and reviewing books that we find interesting. Whether they’re novels, novellas, or short stories, we want to promote them. There are no fees to submit a title for our consideration, and no guarantees we’ll include it. All reading ages accepted.

Of course, we reserve the right to refuse a work for any reason. If we refuse a title, we may not explain why.
